Moli del Quisi - Benissa
If peace and traquility and a little history is something you enjoy then take time to visit the beautifully restored water mill of Moli del Quisi , situated on the outskirts of Benissa , Alicante.
The mill , built in the 15th centuary, was lovingly restored in 2010 to it's former glory, using natural stone from the surrounding area and is considered to be a local cultural heritage.
A small abandoned orchard of orange and lemon trees lays infront of the mill, giving on to the banks of a running brook, hidden by the bamboo canes growing there.
An idilyc place to visit for a picnic or to sit and read a book whilst listening to the bubbling water....
Access the Moli del Quisi from the N332 at the turning for Cami de L'Ombria del Fantaixat below Benissa heading for Calpe (look for the old "Philips " advertisement on the wall of a roadside house) or from Cami del Quisi off the CV 745 at the top end of Benissa heading towards Benimarco.
