Solar energy is vital to support life on earth, it helps to grow our food, light our days, influence weather patterns, provide heat, and can be used to generate solar electricity.
It is realy the time now to start changing to solar energy, with the ever rising prices of the fosil energy. You can generate you own clean energy and become less dependent from the big energy companies.
From the many technologies available to make use of the energy provided by the Sun, we will have a closer look at 2 main forms of making this usefull in our home.
The first one is to use the Light from the Sun to create electricity thru Photovoltaic Cels and Panels (PV-panels). A clean way to generate renewable electricity. This type of generating energy is a great investment with the prices of solarpanels getting lower all the time.

Solar Electricity thru PhotoVoltaic Panels
Use the Light from the Sun to generate Electricity with the help of PhotoVoltaic Cells.
Every one knows the very small solar cell which is making your calculator work. Cover up this cell and the calculator goes off.
A lot of these cells together make a solar panel, and a small panel can be enough to charge a battery, or feed a small circulation pump. Off Grid Example.
This is a small off-grid install in Alcalali. The Solar panels, batteries, and generator are away from the main house. We tried to respect the house and surrounding as much as possible to blend in to the natural atmosphere.
