Els Molins de Xabia (Javea)
Perched on the ridge of the natural park of Montgo mountain sit the old windmills looking out to sea.
The view is breathtaking, contemplating the town of Javea, Cap Prim on the coastline in the far distance and as far as the eye can see towards Ibiza, which is visible on a clear day .
The windmills were built in the 15th century, had large wooden sails and were used to grind the grain into flour, today they stand naked and in various states of renovation, but still beautiful to look at, take time to read about their history and enjoy the magnificent views.
