Fontilles
Tucked away deep in nature in whats known as the " ̈Vall de Laguar" lays the Sanctuary of Fontilles.
Founded in 1902 by a Jesuit priest by the name of Carlos Ferri this peaceful location soon became the main hospice for sufferers of leprosy and still is until the present day.
A visit to Fontilles resembles a journey back in time,we have been here on several ocacsions to explore the grounds and admire the old buildings that so attract people in search of a quiet day out or perhaps even to sit and paint watercolours of the surrounding scenary.
